It's wednesday and I hope you guys have been collecting your angbaos and getting richer each day yeah. Hahahah. When you strike it rich, please remember the mega awesome star, ESTHER CHAN! Hahahah. Okay moving on.

On to the lesson taught on sunday.
Even thought I joined the younger ones on sunday, I feel that I learn a lot from them too. Hahah. It's funny to see the entire class look at Grace's face for the answer. Hahah. And we all (including me) have that 'huh?' look on our faces sometimes. But when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. :D

What do I do when the issue of right and wrong is not clear?
I struggle with this a lot.
At the first part of the lesson, we played a small game where we were to determine what is right, and what is wrong. (I think I should bring a camera on sundays man, so I can post lesson photos. Cos it's so hard to explain! Never mind.) So we started with some easy ones.
1. Murder
2. Shoplifting
3. Eating meat
4. Dowloading illegal MP3s
5. Cutting yourself
Then the hard part came.
6. Tattoos (A few said it was alright)
7. Listening to heavy metal (I said it was wrong btw. Hahah.)
8. Watching R(A)21 movies when you're below 21
9. Watching R(A)21 movies even after 21 yrs old.
10. Working in a casino?

Those were the main ones I remembered. A lot of us said yes and no to certain of the few hard ones. So are they right or are they wrong? Tattoos, yes, no? Casino.. Yes, no?

Well through this, Grace began the lesson.
There are 4 ways to watch out on whether your choice is right. (sounds like the price is right . okay whatever. )
1. Will my choice honour and glorify the Lord?
Think whether this choice of yours glorifies God. Romans 14:6-8

2. Will my choice be a hindrance to others?
Romans 14:12-15,20-22
Do not be a stumbling block or pitfall in your brother's way. Be careful of your choice.

3. Will my choice build others up?
Romans 14:19
So then, we must pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another.
Don't tear your brothers down, instead, build them up. Give them lots of encouragement.

4. Am I fully convinced my choice is right?
You have to be convinced that the decision you make is correct. When in doubt, don't. This is important and when you're in doubt, you're doubting whether you are doing the right thing, which will most probably be wrong.

So, not sure whether that's the right choice? Follow the four steps and I'm sure God will lead the way. Even when the Bible is not clear on an issue, we can still make good choices.

well, back to the 10 choices, tattooing and all, when in doubt, DON'T!
