Ohh! And I realised how to underline stuff. See!
Awesome righttt? Hahahah! Anyway, I'm not here to show how awesome I am, but how awesome God is!
Why Should I look to the bible to determine right and wrong?
It's a question that I myself ask many times.
Most of us grew up in a Christian family, which christian parents, telling us bible stories since we could say, "ahhhh". HAHAHAH.
Actually nowadays parents are more kiasu, they tell the stories before the babies are born. Hahah. Typical Singaporeans. ANYWAY!
The bible is perfect, full of wisdom and reliable.
Perfect - the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:1-17)
Full of wisdom - (Proverbs 11:22-25)
Reliable - (Romans 10:9-13)
So how do we know that it is true??
We question it.
The UNITIY of the Bible.
It is written by 40 writers, in 3 languages, 3 continents, over 1500 years, and yet, there is only ONE message that they're trying to bring across. How awesome is that? :D
The HISTORY of the Bible
Scriptures can be tested through checking with historical accuracy. When the tests are applied, the Bible proves to be an extremely reliable source! Who in the world, but God, can do that?
The PROPHECIES of the Bible
2000 prophecies have already been fulfilled. There is a high probabilty ratio! This is supernatural man. Like look around you, who can do that? Hahah. :D
Not sure the Bible is perfect and right?
Test it out for yourself! Read it, act upon something you read, and see if it doesn't turn out to be the best course of action! You have to read it, and try it out for yourself.
OR do something which has a promise attached to it, and watch God do what He promised!
The point here is...
THE BIBLE PROVIDES THE ONLY TRUE STANDARD FOR RIGHT AND WRONG.
yeah. Awesome isn't it. Amen to the Awesome God. Hahahah.
