No one's blogging ):
So joylynn the mega-awesome joy and achan the mega-awesome star (?) is gonna blog, YAY US.
And we're from different classes so we'll just be sharing the different things that happened in our class luh.
Basically, we were led in a time of worship by none other than james chan who (obviously) played everlasting God (his favourite song mah) and Jesus lover of my soul. And ps, when i was writing the lyrics i wrote "my closet friend" instead of "my closest friend".
JESUS IS DEFINITELY NOT OUR CLOSET FRIEND KAYYYY. Just to clarify that.
Um, so we started class with "The length is right!" We were supposed to guess the length of the pen and auggie our fantabulous teacher obviously had to turn it into a game cause it's, well, auggie. Anyway like john guessed it right, but whatever. The point of playing the game was to questions how we knew that the bible was setting the right standards for us to live, and whether it was true. Parallel to the ruler, it's like how we know that 1cm is 1cm, and that we know it's true.
We learnt that the:
Bible is the truth and nothing but the truth.
Yes it is. It has been proven, for example that the earth was indeed covered in a massive flood, etc. Also, all scripture is God-breathed and has His authority. Nothing can be more truthful than that. Plus, the bible is written by 55 different people, but the thing is that everything in the bible corresponds with one another. There are no loopholes, no nothing. If that isnt enough to convince you, then idk what is.
We also learnt that the:
Bible is good for us and veryvery beneficiary to us
In Psalms, it is said that the bible revives our soul, etc. It's like a perfect guidebook that we all should follow, it's something that has all the answers in it, and something we should turn to when we're unsure (:
Lastly, we learnt that:
Even if the Bible is sooooo good for us, if we dont follow the bible, we will not reap benefits.
It's like James 1:22, 'Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves, do what it says'.
Even if we attend sunday school faithfully every week, do devotions and sutff, if we dont follow what the bible says, it wont benefit us at all ):):):
(So y'all know what you should do already lah!)
Kay, basically that's it. Heh, and the screwtape letters signup thing is closing this sunday, invite your friends and attend the thing! Details are on some post on this blog, idk where it is already, hahaha ;D
