its the baptist convention's first combined baptist family day!
cheers for all who were there.
it was kinda fun wasnt it?



reached toa payoh stadium at around 745 i think.
i thought i was early but turns out there were people who were earlier.
and esther managed to make it!

anyway the family day thing started off with the introduction (not really. its more like reading of the names) of each church, then the worship, followed by the torchbearers (auggie represented our church), then the official opening of the family day convention by the guest of honour.

the games started after that.
it was like kids games 1, the adult games 1...
you get the idea.
orange team (our church plus redeemer baptist and eternal life) was leading from the very start:D
and thanks to all the young kids who took part in almost every single one of the kids games.
it was tiring yeah.

meanwhile, all the youths (who were only taking part in one of the last events) formed a cheerleading squad led by...
who else?
vanessa of course!
and i think we all screamed until our throats hurt.
but our efforts paid off didnt it?

there was a bit of rain after the adult's fifth game, but thank God it cleared up soon after.
and the relayers had to run on a wet track but that didnt stop them either.
yay orange!

the events ended earlier than expected, so we had an impromptu pastor's race!
it was rather entertaining to watch, looking at all the pastors going around walking like donald duck:D
hahahah.

then the closing prayer, then home.
