Hey peeps, van the man is back! Haha jk jk though i know i can be a she male at times.. Hehe..
Anyway, guess where we (Bi Yu, John, Auggie and I) went last Sunday? Sentosa? Town? Nope it's neither of those places. We went kite flying at Marina! Wootz! =)
And eh.. Actually we did go to town but only for lunch at Food Republic and it's really such a small world man! When we are just about to leave Food Republic, we not only bumped into Esther and Joylynn but also their families and Aunty Hannah and Uncle Thiam Chong. Wah! It was just like a big family eating togther. Thinking of it, it kinda reminds me of reunion dinner man. Haha.. ok ok i know i am thinking too much again.
It didnt take us long before we reach Marina Bay and we were just thankful for the good weather - sunny but windy. Indeed, the wind helped us alot in flying our kites but it was real hard work just pulling and releasing the kite man. Hehe.. And I guess God also knew i was struggling and sent me an angel to help me. There was this super enthu uncle who couldnt wait to see my kite flying high up in the sky that he gave me so many tips and even helped me with flying the kite. He was just like my Shi Fu. Haha.. But i guess i disappoint him in the end because shortly after he left, my string broke and the kite flew into some construction site. So sad! Just when i thought i was kiteless, my angel came back to my rescue again! He gave us a free kite! Haha.. I couldn't have thank him enough.
As for the rest, Auggie's kite got torn and fish's kite was still flying steadily. John was the champion man! His kite flew high into the sky for hours!
It was only around 5+pm that we stopped flying our kites and then, it was chill out time! It was just so cool to sit down on the grass patch taking non-stop pics of ourselves, chit-chatting and also enjoying God's creations - the beautiful blue sky, the big white clouds and the tall skyscrapers. Shall show you guys the pics! hehe..
Nice scenary with special effect..
Our pinky kites..
Sorry Auggie if your pics are not here cox we only took pics after you left. Hehe.. Anyway, it was an enjoyable time for all of us and won't you agree that we had good fellowship together!
In the midst of all the fun times, lets also continue to pray for brother John who has just entered the army. Got a call from him that he is mentally stressed and it's hard to follow the marching steps. Hehe.. Also, lets not forget Samuel who is in OCS (Officer Cadet School), it must be tough for him as well. Lastly, pray for those having their major exams too! =)
