Another weekly update of what happened on Sunday this week..
WE HAD AWESOME NEW FILES!!!
It's for us to file our papers of discussion on Sunday into and *ahem* help us be more *ahem* organised. :D
Regarding the file, it's quite dull with its black and plastic and what not so.. the challenge is to create your own individualistic cover for your file!
Exciting exciting, we'll have lots of time until mid April where judging would commence.
So let your artistic imagination run creatively! :D
Moving on, we had a simple activity of listing the events that happened in the Old Testament.
Some of us drew, some of us wrote, some of us panned it out in detail and some of us just anyhow drew a footpath like "series of events" chart (a.k.a me!)
All in all, not enough time to finish it (many many many events in the bible!!) and even with discussion it was hard for anyone or any group to say with conviction and firm confidence that their timeline of events is perfectly precise.
Phew, that's a mouthful.
We then split up into our focus(study?) groups to discussion the various questions on our worksheets.Coming from my group, it was quite an active and indepth discussion.
Participation aplenty and churning of thoughts inside didn't stop.
Despite being unable to finish the worksheet in time, it felt really fruitful to be able to fully understand the meaning behind just that small portion of the creation.
Oh, but we have homework to do of course!
Gathering back as a group, we went through a bit of the timeline and where we were first at with God and the start of the process of going back to that level after we fell because of sin.
So stay tuned for more indepth and eye opening discussions about......?
