Heya people! (:
It was a pretty fun sunday as we learnt how worship can be expressed in art.
We tried out an intriguing and challenging activity of making origami architecture.
Hurrhurr, I have to admit it is rather hard in terms of having to cut the picture properly, fold it.
THE FOLDING'S HARD!!!
Still, it was a eye opener and we'll be continuing it this coming Sunday.
Here's just a few pictures of examples of origami architecture for those who missed it on Sunday.
Cool eh?
Be it paintings, graphics, mosaics, wood carvings or just sketching, we can always express things better visually.
It doesn't have to be aesthetically pleasing to be nice.
Plus, it'll all look like masterpieces to God. (:
Don't worry about not being able to draw nicely.
Hey, art is subjective, what isn't nice to you may be nice to another.
So as long as you think what you draw as a worship to God is nice, there's no need to bother about other's criticism.
Have more faith in your talent.
EVERYONE CAN DRAW.
So go on, try drawing something as a form of worship to God. (:
And we'll see you this coming sunday!
